Baby Rabbit Skull by FossilFeather Baby Rabbit Skull by FossilFeather
Baby rabbit skull. Victim of one of my dog's "hunts" in the backyard. We've since discouraged him from chasing the rabbits he sees and he'll only chase them now if he knows we aren't looking.

Skull cleaned and preserved by me

Disclaimer: I did not kill this animal! If you do not like what you see, don't look at it! Also, don't bother wasting your time leaving rude or pointless comments here, they will be ignored.

oh hello, out of curiosity, but when cleaning a skull as small as this how long should I boil the head to take out the tissue later on?
Because I want to clean this rabbit's head I got to keep it's skull but im not sure how to do this.

He turned ten around the end of this summer, but he's still really healthy and doesn't act very old. :)

It depends on the size of the dog. Big dogs usually live about 10-12 years. Little dogs usually live around 15 or so but sometimes more. Kruger is a medium dog and he eats quality dog food so I think, as long as he doesn't develop any sicknesses or maladies, that he's got a few more good years on him at the least. :aww:

What food does Kru eat? If it's science diet, purina, iams, or even kibbles 'n bits, you'd be highly mistaken on the "High Quality" part :(

Ohhhh, no. He doesn't eat that crap. =P He eats Evo. The bag with the Rottweiler on it because there's bison and venison in there. I'm living vicariously through my dog. :D

He'd probably love you for that. And he's good on a leash. He'll pull a little but if you keep telling him to heel, he will get the idea and slow his pace a bit. :)
