Yay!! Rascally camera... :D

Just stumbled across a comments page, showing the link of the two calves being killed :( You're right, it is horrible, particularly as it's for the english horse-hunt which I'm against. There's really no need for it ^^;

But it was bad, the calves could have been used for something...

It hurts me to watch it. They were really rough with the calves too. :(

The animal lover in me recoils at the idea of what happens to the foxes but I'm also a huge lover of old fashioned ways and customs so I'm kind of caught between the two when it comes to English foxhunting. ^^;

I did a gift for you. I hope you enjoy it as much i I enjoyed making it! :D

Well, there is a thread that mentions it here: [link] They seem to say that it is good for preserving the skin but it can't be called a true tan. I'm not 100% sure on what that means. Perhaps the skin is not a soft, stretchy white leather by the end of the process?
:iconfeatherologist:
Hmmmm well I guess the only way to find out is to try it though.... I don't want to waste a precious Skylark or Dexter skin though. Still, if you don't try these things you'll never know!

I might try your method first though. >.>
